Recolour many images at once

Every pixel is remapped locally — this page has no server to send to.

Add the pictures, say where they should all end up, and run. Each row reports what it found, what it took to get there and whether its coverage looks right.

0 pictures, one landing colour

Not one of them is uploaded anywhere

These files did not start at the same colour, so they cannot be brought to the same colour by the same rotation. Each one's own dominant colour is measured from its own pixels, and the rotation that carries that colour onto the one below is solved for that file alone. The rows print what was found and what it therefore took — the numbers will differ, and that is the point.

Pixels outside each file's selection are copied across byte for byte, so the greys and the colours the tolerances rejected are the bytes they arrived as. The archive is written in this tab; nothing in this queue reaches a network.

    Target or shift

The first choice in the queue is the one that decides whether a batch recolour works: land every file on one colour, or move every file by the same angle. The first is what a rebrand needs; the second is right only when the set is already consistent.

    Three files, two rules
    Arrives atLand on 200°Shift +60°
    20°rotated +180°, lands at 200°lands at 80°
    140°rotated +60°, lands at 200°lands at 200°
    260°rotated −60°, lands at 200°lands at 320°

    Limits of a set

    1. Two files are processed at a time and released as they finish; the preflight states the memory the largest file needs.
    2. A greyscale file has no source colour to land; it is reported as such, or toned with the black-and-white and sepia modes.
    3. One failed file marks its own row and never stops the others.

Questions people bring to this page

Why does every file get a different rotation?
Because they did not start at the same colour. Landing a set on one colour means measuring each file's own dominant colour and solving the rotation that carries that colour to the target; three files that started at 20, 140 and 260 degrees need three different rotations to arrive together. The uniform shift is offered too, named for what it does.
Can I use the settings from one picture I already edited?
Yes. On any single-picture page, “Apply this recipe to more pictures” opens this queue carrying the stack. Painted regions, shapes and AI gates are left behind and the queue says so, because they belong to that picture's frame.
What does a flagged row mean?
Its selection covered a share of the frame outside the expected band — usually a file where the colour is missing or where the background joined in. Flagged rows are listed first by default, with the reason, and the file is still produced so you can decide.
    What is receipt.csv?
A spreadsheet-readable list inside the ZIP: for each file, the output name, which path it took (palette rewrite or pixels), the colour found, asked and delivered, the ΔE_OK, the share reduced to fit sRGB, the coverage and any flag.
